According to an article published this evening from The Oregonian Politics Team, Republican Greg Walden has the most money in his campaign bank account. The numbers are from 10 days ago, but demonstrates the effort needed to financially support Carol Voisin’s campaign and for her to use her campaign dollars wisely. LINK

who offers these words of Voisin:
As for Carol Voisin, she meets all the criteria of a true progressive, someone for whom ethics and faith is a core value. Carol is a trained Methodist theologian with a Master of Divinity degree and a doctorate in Theology who currently teaches college freshmen “Ethics in the Twenty-first Century.” She is intelligent, full of passion for the tasks ahead, and compassionately concerned about this country’s direction. As our congresswoman she will work tirelessly for ALL of her constituents. In Senator Ron Wyden’s words: “Carol Voisin is a champion for restoring fiscal discipline at the federal level, improving public education, ensuring access to quality health care for all, and ending a too-costly war in Iraq. She brings fresh ideas to some of our nation’s toughest challenges.” LINK
The whole post is well worth reading to get a feel for Carol’s netroots connections and why she has such a huge financial disadvantage.
